My film Donkey is finally online on the Irish Film Board media hub here: http://www.thisisirishfilm.ie/shorts/donkey
Time is up on the plushie potential vote and the King character won it, Winter came in a close second. When I start making it I'll try and post up some process pictures to show how the design goes from drawing to plushie. If I find the time, I'll try and make the winter plushie too, but no promises!
In other news, my short film Donkey, will be screening in front of Mary and Max in the IFI in Dublin from today. I'm really happy about it, the feature is a great stop motion film from Australia and I'm hoping lots more people will get to see my film.
Also Donkey recently got into its 20th festival, so its still going strong. The list of festivals and screenings of it are over on the Barley Films website.

It was selected in the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen in Germany which is on from the 29th April to the 4th May. Iftn reported on it too, see the article here.
The film has also been recently screening at the Tricky Women film festival in Vienna, the Chicago Irish film festival and the Cairo International Film Festival for Children.
If anyone makes it to the Oberhausen festival let me know!

This is my new short film, Donkey. Its about a donkey who is tired of his minimum wage job at the beach.
I have been working on it for pretty much the last year and it just premiered at Galway Film Fleadh last weekend. It got a really good reception which was great, I have been working so hard I forgot that it was actually entertaining :)
Anyway now its going to be entered into a lot more festivals around the world.
Here's a promo poster I did and below are some stills from the final film. I did most of the animation, Ciaran Duffy did the backgrounds and Eimhin McNamara did the colouring, comping, lighting and some animation too! This film was made at Barley Films.
